The Young People’s Division (YPD) provides training programs in all areas of church life. The purpose is to build community among children and youth; provide leadership development; perform service projects; study the Bible and the AME Church; and to conduct and participate in workshops relevant to the issues facing today’s youth. Their colors are forest green and white.

Payne Chapel’s YPD — Praying for our youth. Our youth are the future for our city, nation and world. Therefore, we must pray for them daily. As believers, we declare that our youth are the righteousness of God! We declare that they walk in obedience and they are growing in the wisdom and stature of the Lord.
